his summer Lowride.info follows a record hunt of Finnish group going for the national records in 200 m, 1 h, 12 h and 24 h. These old records will surely fall but not without hard work. The group consist of people with different talents which is important in a project like this. Or what do you think about calculations of air- and rolling resistance, power output and energy intake, the knowledge of tuning a streamliner and in the end the suffering needed to make records?
Follow the record hunt in Lowride.info…
Records will fall in the end of the summer but before that there´s alot to do. We will show you the tuning of a streamliner, training with the drivers (including all the falls) and hopely in the end new Finnish cycling records!

Good luck for the record hunt. By the way, what are the current records for the 200m, 1h, 12h and 24?
Finnish national record for flying start 200 metres is 10,326 sec. = avg.speed of 69,72 km/h.
1 hour record is 45,299 km and there are no official records for 12 h and 24 h.
Finnish cycling union SPU is keeping a record for the records but I don´t think they´ll accept records done by recumbents. Anyway all of the records will surely fall!
